| Eka Designs works primarily for the benefit of the client. Besides the client, Eka Designs also has professional responsibilities to their fellow practitioners and to society at large. |
To the Client / Customer

| Eka Designs will act in their client’s interests within the limits of their professional duties. Eka Designs will not work on assignments which are in direct competition with the client’s, without first informing the client, for a period of one year after the completion of the commission. |
| To the Profession |
| Eka Designs will not denigrate the work or reputation of another designer by destructive criticism of their work. Eka Designs will not attempt to directly or indirectly supplant another designer in terms of fee or by other unfair inducement. Eka Designs will not take up a partly finished assignment from a client, without first getting the consent of the initial designer. |
| To the Community |
| Eka Designs accepts a professional obligation to further the social and aesthetic standard of the community. Eka Designs accepts professional responsibility to act in the best interests of the ecology, of the natural environment, and of the safety of users. Eka Designs will act in keeping with the honor and dignity of the profession. Eka Designs will not consciously assume or accept a position in which their personal interests conflict with their professional duty. |
