  The barcode scanner SE-4, available since 2008 has been developed for the RICOH 500 SE Digital Camera and is screwed on to the upper side of the camera as the GPS receiver.

The SE-4 is a professional class-2 laser scanner, that works even under difficult lighting conditions and is able to read all popular 1D-barcodes.
   
 
The scanned barcode is being saved in the memo part of the picture. That way the data and the pictures are matched. Up to four different barcodes can be saved per picture.

The SE-4 is easy to use and is fast. The scanner supports a variety of barcodes.

Supported barcodes are: Code 39, Code 128, EAN 128, Interleaved 2of5, ITF-14, JAN13, JAN8, UPC-A, UPC-E. High adaptability through the combination of modern technologies.

The digital camera RICOH 500SE is extremely adaptable and offers the best technical setup for various tasks.

With the barcode scanning the RICOH Caplio 500SE connects two fields of activity and becomes the perfect tool for the inventory of objects. The Caplio 500SE performs three tasks in one:

  Taking a high resolution picture.
